This weekend I'll wire up the SPAL fan and mount it. Right now the temp gauge reads just over half or a little more, but not over. So, not too bad!
There's really not a lot left to do on the swap, although there are plenty of other things I want to do the Siobhan still! I can't even begin to say enough how much I love driving the car now! :)
Had fun watching the AutoX! Gonna have to try it out for myself in the spring!! I'll post a few pics up in a bit.Originally posted by LJ851kingston is the play by play announcer for this thread.

A big thanks has to go to Levent at Guten Parts, who supplies all of my parts...sometimes before I've even paid for `em! He gets every bit of my business!Originally posted by LJ851kingston is the play by play announcer for this thread.

Yep, Levent is a great dude (and also my muse/enabler/pusher in all things BMW!).
Just put money down on an S52! Whether it goes in Siobhan or Lilo, the project/track car, remains to be seen
Cannot wait!!!!Originally posted by LJ851kingston is the play by play announcer for this thread.

Well, with Christmas over, it's time to get cracking on the BMWs again! A couple of changes are in order. First, Lilo, the red project/track car is going to a new home. That's to make room for this:
My 'new' Alpineweiss 325is track car!
Also, I'm picking up a `97 318ti for my wife, who wanted her own project car! G-d, I love my wife!
But this is a thread about Siobhan, yes?
So, I picked up a set of bullet-nose studs and 2 20mm spacers from Tim England (Philo on R3V). Great guy and a great seller BTW. If he's selling, you can buy from him with confidence!
It was dark out when I got home tonight so the pics came out way grainy, but here's a quick shot of the studs.
I LOVE `em!
More soon!Originally posted by LJ851kingston is the play by play announcer for this thread.

Got the Zionsville Motorsports Brake Booster...
This is a pre-modded E21 booster. Ready to bolt up and use with the stock MC and reservoir!

Where did u get the pre-modded brake booster? Is there an alternative to this?Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

Those are odbII headers modified to work with ODBI. If you look at the ODBII headers they are lighter and better built than those huge stock M50 headers.sigpicComment

I have started to shop around for parts I need to start rebuilding my M50. I am curious why you chose OBD II instead of OBD I? What is the pros and cons?

Frank is spot on. The modded OBD-II headers flow better and are lighter. They are rumored to be worth a few extra HP.
Regarding the brake booster: I purchased it from Zionsville Motorsports. It is an E21 booster that has the thread modified to work with an E30. I do not know of anyplace else that sells a pre-modded booster. I paid $249 for the booster. Here's the link: http://www.zionsvilleautosport.com/s...code/POMBB.htm
All ready to use, and they come cleaned up and painted. As I did not have access to the tools needed to mod the thread on the booster (VERY hard metal), and I thought briefly that I was made of money, I went this route. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I'm very happy wiyh it!Originally posted by LJ851kingston is the play by play announcer for this thread.
